Gentle chiropractic, at Lewiston pace
Dr. Glenda Rose keeps a small office where nobody gets rushed. You explain what hurts, we check what is actually going on, and the adjustment happens only when it makes sense for your back.
What folks bring through the door
Most weeks it is one of these five. If yours is not on the list, call and describe it — chiropractic is not the answer to everything, and we will say so.
Low back and hip ache
The kind that shows up after a long drive down the parkway, a weekend in the garden, or a winter of shoveling. We look at how you move before we touch anything.
Neck, shoulder and desk strain
Screens pull the head forward and the neck pays for it. Adjustments plus two or three changes at your desk usually do more than either one alone.
Headaches that keep coming back
When headaches start at the base of the skull and travel forward, the upper neck is often part of the story. We check it and tell you honestly what we find.
Pregnancy and little ones
Side-lying positioning and very light contact for expecting mothers, and feather-pressure checks for children. Nothing forceful, nothing surprising.
After a car or work injury
We document carefully, keep the notes readable, and coordinate with your primary doctor or attorney when the paperwork asks for it.
How we ease it down
Four steps, same order every time, whether it is your first visit or your fortieth.
Sit and talk
What hurts, when it started, what makes it worse. No clipboard shoved at you in the hallway.
Look and test
Range of motion, posture, a few orthopedic and neurological checks. Imaging only if there is a reason for it.
Adjust gently
Hands or a small instrument, whichever suits you. If a segment is too irritated to move today, we leave it alone.
Two things to do at home
Never a printout of twenty exercises. Two things you will actually remember, and a plain idea of when to come back.
Rather not fill in a form? The office picks up during opening hours — and calls back the same day if we miss you.
A practice that's been here a while
Rose Chiropractic is a single-doctor office, which is the whole point. You see Dr. Glenda Rose every visit, she remembers what your shoulder did last spring, and you are not handed off to whoever is free.
Lewiston is a small place. People come back because a neighbor told them to, and they bring their kids and, eventually, their parents. That is the kind of practice this is — unhurried, hands-on, and honest about what chiropractic can and cannot fix.

Your first visit, start to finish
About forty minutes, and you will know by the end of it whether this office can help you.
- Wear something you can move in. Soft trousers beat jeans. Nothing needs to come off.
- Bring the short version. Any imaging you already have, plus the name of anything you take daily.
- Talking comes first. Roughly fifteen minutes of history and testing before any adjusting.
- Adjusting is quick. A pop is just gas leaving a joint. Some visits are quieter than others; both are fine.
- Afterwards. Most people feel looser within the hour. A little soreness the next morning is normal — sharp pain is not, so ring us.

Fastest way is still the phone:
(716) 524-1008If it is after hours, or you would rather not explain it twice, leave your name and a good time. Dr. Rose or the front desk will ring you back — same day during the week, Monday morning if it lands on a weekend.
